How to USE the NEW Jobs Board

A few things to know about this job board:

1) Jobs only stay on the site for 21 days after they are posted.

2) Anyone can post a job if they register with the site.

3) You do not have to register to see the jobs.

4) The same job can be posted in up to 5 categories.

5) Up to 5 jobs per 30 minutes are also posted on twitter at CareerUSAJobs.

 

The intent of this job board is to post those jobs that are NOT found on the major websites (i.e. Monster, CareerBuilder, HotJobs, etc.) In addition MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) jobs are not permitted.

 

How to USE the Job Board:

1) Go to www.CareerUSA.org

2) Click on the Jobs tab at the top of the screen

3) The screen will  come up and you will have :

     a) The 30 most current jobs - this will be located under the ABC that goes across the screen.

     b) Search Box- this will allow you to search the jobs

     c) Pair of Binoculars (next to search box) - Click the Binoculars and three options will appear:

  • Tags - 
  • Author - 
  • Location - Click on Location, enter a zip in the "Enter a City" field, change the distance to 100 (sorry, you can not change the Km to miles), then click the Apply in the blue box. You will now see the jobs in that radius from the zip you entered.

d) Filter by Category - Here you can select any category and see the jobs in that category. In the (x) next to the category, is the number of jobs in posted in that category.
